London's Docklands have long been a hotbed of sporting excellence, with Millwall Rugby Club consistently flying the flag for rugby union in the capital, and Saturday 3rd September sees them play against Old Whitgiftians in their next game of the 2016/17 campaign.

Representing the Isle of Dogs in the Essex League 1, Millwall Rugby Club draws its players and supporters from one of the capital's most diverse areas, which includes Canary Wharf, Crossharbour, and Island Gardens.

Their Millwall Park home ground is one of London's most picturesque parks, with a flat, open vista that comes alive on Saturdays when Millwall's first XV take to the pitch to demonstrate their brand of fleet-footed, hard-tackling rugby.

The club is also active in the community, with many of their players living or working locally, whilst the clubhouse is the venue for many a lively evening, and the various representative sides are always keen to welcome new players to their ranks.

Whether you are a novice or an experienced rugby player, you will find a wonderful environment at Millwall in which to put your skills to the test, with men's and women's representative sides (the latter playing as Venus Rugby) playing regular matches, home and away.
